ABOUT

sustainsafe logo_vertical_green.png

The SUSTAINSafe – Agro Hazardous Waste Education for a SUSTAINable and Safer Future project responds to a critical gap in vocational education and training (VET) related to the safe and sustainable management of agro-hazardous waste. Despite strict EU regulations, many agricultural professionals and VET learners lack structured training on proper waste handling, disposal, and regulatory compliance.

Aligned with the Erasmus+ priorities Environment and Fight Against Climate Change and Innovation in VET, the project develops a Digital Handbook, an interactive E-learning Platform, and a Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) combining digital learning with hands-on training. Through these actions, SUSTAINSafe strengthens green skills, promotes circular economy approaches, and supports the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices across Europe.
