Day 4 of the SUSTAINSafe LTTA: Embracing Digital Innovation for Safer Waste Management!
The fourth day of the Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) of the Erasmus+ project SUSTAINSafe – Agro Hazardous Waste Education for a SUSTAINable and Safer Future focused on how digital technologies and interactive learning can transform the management of agro-hazardous waste.
Throughout the day, participants explored:
🤖 Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and digital tracking systems for waste management
đź“Š Smart monitoring tools and data-driven compliance, supporting environmental protection and safer agricultural practices
🚨 Emergency Response Simulation, where participants took part in a role-based exercise responding to a simulated chemical spill, strengthening their decision-making and emergency preparedness skills
🎮 An engaging Genially-based Gamified Learning Session, where partners presented interactive educational games developed within the project, demonstrating how innovative digital tools can make vocational education more effective, engaging and accessible.
đź’ˇ The combination of technology, practical simulations and gamification showcased how innovation can strengthen environmental safety, improve regulatory compliance and support the development of green skills across Europe.
