Successful Start of the SUSTAINSafe LTTA in Larissa, Greece!

The first day of the Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) of the Erasmus+ project “SUSTAINSafe – Agro Hazardous Waste Education for a SUSTAINable and Safer Future” was successfully implemented in Larissa, bringing together partners and participants from Greece, Romania and Türkiye 🤝🌍
During the first sessions, participants explored the fundamentals of Agro-Hazardous Waste Management, discussing:
⚠️ environmental risks
🧪 hazardous agricultural waste
👷 occupational health & safety
🌿 sustainable waste management practices in agriculture
A key focus of the day was the European Regulatory Framework and compliance obligations related to hazardous substances and waste management, including:
📘 REACH Regulation
🏷️ CLP Regulation
♻️ Waste Framework Directive
✅ Safety procedures & compliance responsibilities
The discussions highlighted the importance of:
🌱 strengthening green skills

The LTTA continues with:
