Αgro-hazardous waste

Did you know that agro-hazardous waste is one of the most underestimated environmental risks in farming?

Agro-hazardous waste, such as pesticide containers, fertilizers, and chemical residues, can have serious consequences when not managed properly.

Why does it matter?

Because poor handling and disposal can lead to:

 1. soil and water contamination

 2. health & safety risks for farmers and workers

 3. non-compliance with EU waste management regulations

 4. Long-term environmental damage

That’s exactly why SUSTAINSafe was created:

 - To address the lack of structured training in VET and support SMEs and professionals through digital learning resources, practical guidance, and capacity-building activities.
